At Stromberg Carburetor, we aim to make all our
dealings with the customer (you) straightforward and
honest. We hope that the Terms & Conditions below
are clear, fair and easy to understand, but please
do not hesitate to contact us if you have any

By placing an order with Stromberg Carburetor,
you are accepting our terms and conditions.
Stromberg Carburetor is a trading name of Phobix
Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company
registration number 6485897, registered address –
163-164 Moulsham Street, Chelmsford CM2 0LD. Your
existing statutory rights are not affected by these
conditions.

2. Description of our goods
All the items we sell are new. All goods supplied
are covered by a 12-month guarantee subject to the
Terms & Conditions detailed below, and our
Limited
Warranty, also detailed below.

3. Technical Queries
While we aim to provide comprehensive
manufacturer support via phone and email, we
recommend you first contact your nearest genuine
Stromberg dealer, who can assist with technical
queries, recommend and sell you the correct products
you need.
At Stromberg, we are also available to answer
telephone queries during our opening hours (9am –
5.30pm Mon-Fri UK time). We can also answer queries
by email to sales@stromberg-97.com

4. How to order
To place an order with Stromberg Carburetor,
please phone, write, fax or email us
(sales@stromberg-97.com), stating the following
information: 1) your name; 2) your Dealer Code (if
applicable); 3) your purchase order (if applicable);
(4) the exact part number(s) required; (5) the
quantities ordered; and (6) your shipping
instructions. This website contains no web shop, so
products cannot be purchased online direct from this
website.
Every order will be confirmed before picking and
dispatch. Once ready to ship, we will email you (by
pdf file) an invoice detailing the order, prices and
shipping costs.
As all Dealers are aware, demand for the new
Stromberg 97 carburetor still outstrips supply,
which has resulted in a lengthy back-order list.
Until this is resolved, orders for carburetors will
be confirmed by email, placed on record, and shipped
as available (you will be advised) and only billed
when shipped.

5. Back Orders
If, for any reason, there is a delay in
fulfilling part of your order, back-ordered items
will be noted on the invoice and delivery note. We
will not send substitutes. Back-ordered items will
not be billed until such time as they become
available, and shipped as soon as possible. You will
not be charged shipping for back-ordered items
shipped alone. However, Stromberg may elect to
include back-ordered items with future new order
shipments if timing coincides.

6. Payment
Price shown on this website are full retail
prices for parts bought from our USA dealer network.
Dealers in other countries may charge other prices
in their own local currencies. For a list of Genuine
Stromberg Dealers, please click on the Dealer
Network page of this website.
If you are a Genuine Stromberg dealer, the prices
we charge you will reflect the level of discount
agreed with you.
Unless otherwise agreed, the full balance due is
payable by an agreed method for all products ordered
prior to shipment. Customers in the USA and Canada
should pay for their goods in US dollars. Customers
from the UK, EU and other countries should pay in UK
pounds (£).
Accepted payment methods include Paypal to
sales@stromberg-97.com (paypal e-check is
preferred), cheques drawn on UK banks, International
bank (wire) transfer and international money order.
Checks and money orders drawn on U.S. banks are
discouraged. Subject to approval, we also accept
payment by all major credit cards, via our Merchant
partner PayPal.
All customers should contact us on
sales@stromberg-97.com to agree payment method
before shipment. Bank details for International bank
payments are available on request.
If you pay by Paypal (including credit card
payments), you will receive confirmation of your
payment via email from PayPal. Receipt of other
payments will be confirmed by email or simply by
dispatch of the goods.

7. VAT
Our VAT number is 930 9394 09. UK and EU
customers will be charged Value Added Tax (VAT) at
the prevailing UK rate (currently 17.5%) on
qualifying purchases. If you reside within the EU
(European Union) but not in the UK, and are a bona
fide business who can supply a genuine EU VAT (or
equivalent) number, you will not be charged VAT on
your shipment provided it leaves the UK direct from
us. No VAT is charged to customers from outside the
EU, provided the order leaves the UK direct from us.

8. Shipping
In most cases (ie. for service parts kits), your
order will be processed and despatched within 7
working days, at which point we will send
confirmation that your order has been shipped.
You are responsible for all shipping charges
unless specifically excluded as set forth below. For
international shipments, all products shall be
F.O.B. England, subject to the carrier’s minimum
insurance levels. If you require additional
insurance, please let us know with your order. You
are also responsible for duty and customs clearance
charges at the receiving port of entry.
Unless shipped direct (in which case the above
terms apply), shipments to the USA are shipped via
our warehouse in Kentucky (c/o Prime Logistics, 7500
Empire Drive, Florence, KY 42012, USA). In this
case, responsibility passes to the dealer only once
the package leaves this warehouse in the USA.

9. Delivery Charges
We ship by the most cost-effective method. Small
packages go by 1st class Royal Mail, while higher
value orders go by tracked courier. Shipping charges
will depend on the size of the order and the
location and will be advised on your invoice before
shipment. For shipments outside the UK, we use Fedex
International Priority – overnight or 2-day. If you
prefer to make your own arrangements, please let us
know.

10. Misordered or Mis-shipped Merchandise Returns
Please inspect orders immediately upon arrival to
ensure that you have received the parts ordered and
that they are free from shipping damage. If damaged,
keep all merchandise and damaged packaging as
evidence and file a claim with the carrier. Do not
send freight-damaged merchandise back to Stromberg
Carburetor or our warehouse..
If you believe a product is ordered in error, or
mis-shipped, you must contact us. If the merchandise
is shipped or ordered in error, we will issue an RGA
number and an address (UK or USA) for merchandise
return. RGA numbers are only valid for thirty (30)
days after issue. Unless agreed by Stromberg, no
returns for items ordered in error will be accepted
after thirty (30) days of receipt.
All returns must display the valid RGA number on
the outside of the package, be returned within
thirty (30) days after issue of the RGA number, and
freight must be pre-paid. Stromberg does not accept
CODs.
If the return is due to our error, we will credit
the return shipping costs (not packing) to your
dealer account.
If we determine the return is valid, we will
evaluate the returned merchandise and determine
whether to exchange, credit, or refund the original
invoice amount of the merchandise. Original shipping
charges are not refundable. However, the direct (not
packing) shipping costs for the return will be
credited to your dealer account. Returned goods must
not be used, disfigured, or modified in any way.

11. Warranty Returns
Warranty returns must be processed according to
our published warranty procedure with an
accompanying Warranty Return Tag and RGA number.

We cannot accept liability with regard to any
claim you make where you have not complied with the
claims procedures in these conditions

12. Your right to cancel
You can cancel your order for any reason for up
to 14 working days after your item arrives with you.
To do this, please send us an email stating that you
wish to cancel and why, and we will advise you on
how to proceed.
We will not accept returns of this nature (where
the item is not faulty but you wish to cancel your
order) if;
(i) The item is not in its original unopened and
saleable condition;
(ii) The item is not returned in its original
packaging and any additional protective packaging
which we have supplied;
(iii) If you are returning a non-faulty item, we will
give you a full refund for the item, however, we
will not refund the cost of delivery, and you are
responsible for paying any return delivery costs.

Stromberg Carburetor reserves the right to make
changes in design, materials and specification, or
to make product or packaging changes without
incurring liability or obligation with respect to
similar products previously manufactured.
